An encouragement
of light
paints the afternoon,
unshrouds what's
shadowed.
Blue spruce and aspen trees,
cerulean skies,
people walking, this
red chair, this cup
of water, all shining
in stillness. Goodness
wells up, saturates
everything, everywhere
now.
