I noticed this morning
first thing in the mirror
a tooth has shifted a bit,
like a fenceboard
knocked out of place.
It now protrudes slightly
from its neighbors
thus creating an unevenness,
not unseemly at all,
just a spot
for my tongue
to play indoors.
