step forth from your porch
of false safety, burst
into color

like the scarlet
bougainvillea 
leaping

from its patch
of dirt!

       crucial

after moments of wandering
with silence all afternoon,

I stepped through
somehow

a shimmering stream

into the most vivid
innocence

and disappeared....

If everything is gift,
what then

to become

except a gust
of thanks

everywhere!

What Is A Man?

a coalescence
  between
    two 
disappearances.

Stillness

   hidden

within infinite

effervescense

Joy embodied
flies

across blue
skies.

Four dazzling
seahorses
float before

our eyes. Silently,
you and I

gaze beguiled.

A vast field
opens before
us, seated

atop this green
picnic table.

After Meditation In The Rockies

An encouragement
of light
paints the afternoon,

unshrouds what's
shadowed.

Blue spruce and aspen trees,
cerulean skies,
people walking, this

red chair, this cup
of water, all shining
in stillness. Goodness

wells up, saturates
everything, everywhere
now.
